Responsibilities
- Flexible mindset
- As a Matroos you assist the Stuurman or Captain with all work on a ship
- Mooring and unmooring the ship and assisting with loading and unloading
- Carrying out maintenance such as minor repairs, rustproofing, sanding, painting and polishing.
- Proper maintenance of the ship, equipment and accommodation
- Good language skills in Dutch, German and English.
- Possession of a driving license is an advantage
Training and experience
- Sufficient sailing time with the note of Matroos in the service booklet
- Good language skills in Dutch, German and English.
- Tanker experience / Dry cargo container experience
