As a Captain you are the face and voice of Wijgaart Shipping to staff, customers, authorities and partners. You put a smile on customers' faces when they think of Wijgaart Shipping. And you are responsible for the overall well-being of your crew.

Responsibilities
- You are a good manager and have good communication skills / leadership capabilities
- High degree of sense of responsibility
- Stress resistant and flexible attitude
- Adequate in decision making
- Responsible for adhering company regulations, safety regulations and other relevant rules and regulations
- Responsible for the crew, including training on board and identifying and solving bottlenecks
- Responsible for good communication with client
- Tanker experience
Training and experience
- In possession of a Navication licence (Inland Shipping)
- In possession of a Rhine patent until at least Mannheim
- In possession of a Maritime radio certificate
- In possession of Radar patent
- In possession of at least ADN basis
- In possession of driving licence
- Good language skills in Dutch, German and English.
