As a Captain you are ultimately responsible for the ins and outs on board. You have knowledge of logistics processes, supervise the sailors and mates and coordinate maintenance. In addition, you maintain contacts with the charterers/clients and ensure that the cargo leaves and arrives on time.

Responsibilities
- You are a good manager and have good communication skills / leadership capabilities
- High degree of sense of responsibility
- Stress resistant and flexible attitude
- Adequate in decision making
- Observe company regulations, safety regulations and other relevant rules and regulations
- Responsible for the staff, including training staff on board and identifying and solving bottlenecks
- Responsible for good communication with client
- Tanker (bunker) experience
Training and experience
- In possession of a Navication licence (Inland Shipping)
- In possession of a Maritime radio certificate
- In possession of Radar patent
- In possession of at least ADN basis
- In possession of driving licence
- Good language skills in Dutch, German and English.
